Stephen Clevenger

Stephen grew up in Decatur and graduated from MacArthur High School. He then attended the University of Mississippi and obtained a Finance Degree with a focus on investment analysis. After graduation, Stephen then attended Law School at University of Kentucky where he focused his study on Tax and Estate Planning.
Upon Graduation from Law school, Stephen returned to Decatur to practice law with Featherstun, Gaumer, Stocks, Flynn & Eck, LLP. His practice included real estate, estate planning, and estate administration. After a few years in practice, Stephen joined Soy Capital Bank as a Trust officer. As a Trust officer, he administered Trusts and Estates according to their legal documents and managed the investment of trust assets. While at Soy Capital Bank, Stephen earned his CFP®, Certified Financial Planner, designation in 2016.
Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife, Monica, and their son, Louis, and daughter Lily. He has been a member of the Richland Community College Foundation Board of Directors since 2016. Stephen also enjoys volunteering at Renaissance Church as the barista.
Stephen has placed 42nd overall in the Chicago Marathon and 55th overall in the Boston Marathon. Stephen also competed on the worst weather day, most say, in Boston Marathon history in 2018.
